
Chicken Alfredo Calzones
This rich and creamy sauce isn’t just for pasta! Paired with diced chicken, mushrooms and broccoli you’ve got a fun meal in a pocket.

- Preheat oven to temperature recommended on pizza dough packaging.
- In a medium-sized skillet over medium heat add:
- When oil is hot cook add:
- 3/4 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1/4 cup onions, diced
- Sauté until vegetables soften, about 3 minutes.
- Stir in:
- 1/2 cup broccoli florets, frozen and chopped
- 1/2 cup cooked chicken, chopped
- Cook until broccoli softens, 3-5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in:
- 1 tsp lemon juice (optional)
- 3/4 cup homemade or store bought Alfredo Sauce
- Remove from case and cut in half:
- 1 roll of refrigerated pizza dough
- Form dough into two 6-inch circles and place on a pizza stone or lightly greased baking sheet.
- Pour half of the Alfredo mixture onto half of each pizza circle.
- Pull empty circle half up over the Alfredo side and cover like a blanket.
- Seal edges by using a fork to push the two dough halves together.
- Using a pastry brush or spoon, brush the top of the calzones with:
- Bake as package recommends until dough is browned.

- 1/2 tsp olive oil
- 3/4 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1/4 cup onions, diced
- 1/2 cup broccoli florets, frozen and chopped
- 1/2 cup cooked chicken, chopped
- 1 tsp lemon juice (optional)
- 3/4 cup homemade or store bought Alfredo Sauce
- 1 roll of refrigerated pizza dough
- 1 egg, beaten
