Family Spice Recipe for Portabella Pizzas

 

Portobello Pizzas

 

 

  1. Preheat oven to 450º.
  2. Using a damp paper towel gently clean:
    • 4 portobello mushrooms
  3. Using a spoon, remove the stems and the gills.
  4. In a small pan saute:
    • 1 tsp olive oil
    • 1/2 lb ground turkey sausage (optional)
  5. Place mushrooms on broiler pan prepared with non-stick spray and top each mushroom with:
    • 1/4 cup marinara sauce
    • 1/8 cup cooked turkey sausage
    • 1/4 cup shredded mozzerella
    • 1 TBS grated parmesean
    • salt & pepper to taste
  6. Bake for 15 minutes.
  7. Turn broiler on and broil until cheese tops brown.
