Family Spice Recipe for Walnut Butter

Walnut Butter

Homemade nut butters are super easy to make, and you get to control what you put into it!

Recipe adapted from Cooking Light, August 2007

  1. Make walnut butter by grinding until a paste is formed, approximately 5 minutes, in a food processor:
    • 3 cups walnuts
  2. If using a mini food processor, the motor may not be powerful enough to make a pourable nut butter.
  3. For a smoother consistency, add one teaspoon at a time:
    • 1-2 tsp oil (optional)

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 cups walnuts
  • 1-2 tsp oil (optional)
